Last Monday at the regular council meeting, the City of Castlegar and the Castlegar Fire Department officially thanked the Castlegar Rotary Club for their generous donation of a 2023 CanAm Defender, utility terrain vehicle, trailer and wildfire skid unit. The new UTV 1 apparatus, will be used to enhance wildfire and rescue operations for the city and surrounding area.
