Posted by Castlegar Fire Department on Facebook, June 3 2023: Today at the Sunfest parade, CFD debuted it’s newest apparatus. It is a 2023 CanAm Defender crew cab. It was donated by the Castlegar Rotary Club. The unit will be designated as UTV 1. It will be used for wildfire and rescue operations in difficult to access areas. Thank you Castlegar Rotary club for supporting this great community!
